My name is Brian Carriveau and Railbird Central started out as a little hobby of mine. I am a teacher in Northeastern Wisconsin and as such, have my summers off. Railbird Central was created during that free time.

While reading a website devoted to football you may hope the writer has some background with the subject material. I can't boast a professional career, and I might not be educated in the finer points of football that only a professional may know, but I do have meager credentials.

I played one year of club level football while abroad for the University of Technology, Sydney while in Australia that followed a career as a three time letter winner and an all-conference award as a wide receiver at the high school level.

I also have a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin in both Journalism and Communication Arts and a M.Ed. from Carthage College. Currently I teach secondary journalism and English at Fond du Lac High School in Northeastern Wisconsin. And I was formerly head track & field coach at Lena High School.
